About
I'm Mark Noble. I've spent over 30 years making IT work for businesses, starting in support and working up to running IT departments, big projects and integrations.
For ten years I was IT Director at Romero Insurance Brokers in Leeds, and I led the IT team through two takeovers. AssuredPartners bought Romero in 2023, and Gallagher bought AssuredPartners in 2025. From January 2024 I also worked with the AssuredPartners and Gallagher teams on moving acquired agencies onto Gallagher's systems.
My approach is simple: understand the business first, then fix the technology. I'm comfortable setting direction at board level and just as happy getting hands-on when something needs fixing. I've worked with small in-house teams and with large corporate functions.
Most of my work has been in insurance, retail, manufacturing and distribution. I'm based in Leeds. I work with businesses across Yorkshire, on-site, hybrid or remote.

Outside work
Long-distance walking in the National Parks, and a campervan. At work I was the company wellbeing champion and ran the social club.
